Coady creates her colorful monotypes by using successive layers of transparent oil inks resulting in abstract landscape images. Her etchings may portray the human form in a contemplative solitary setting or a group relationship. Pattern and contrast are always an integral part of Coady’s work and contribute to the impact and dynamic of each hand-pulled print.
